| UT tolerance: Complete re-pointing (No worn part remaining) |

| Hole Qualities |
| |
A:Poor registration accuracy |
| |
Because the worn part on cutting edge has not been fully
removed, the point of drill bit remains worn causing a front
taper shape. This causes increasing thrust force and moment,
promoting poor registration accuracy. |

Check re-pointed amount, fully re-point to remove
worn part.
(If the overall length remains the same after re-point, please
check the re-pointed amount. The re-pointed amount may vary
due to the unevenness of some new drill bits overall length
being under tolerance.) |
| |
*Example) Aspects of minimum re-pointing amount
-. Removes front taper which is caused by flank wearing.
-. Evaluate restoration of registration accuracy (before and
after re-pointing) |
